Integration

Shopify integration

The SuppliFlex Shopify connector brings storefront orders into the same queue as your marketplace and wholesale orders and keeps available quantities per location in step with the inventory ledger. Sync is two-way and near-real-time. It is simulated in the sandbox now and goes live with the production beta on 13 Nov 2026.

What does the Shopify connector do in SuppliFlex?

Shopify is your storefront. SuppliFlex sits behind it as the system of record: the place where stock is counted, orders are allocated and shipped, and purchasing and accounting stay in step. The connector is the link between the two.

Without that link, a brand selling on Shopify plus a marketplace and a wholesale channel usually ends up with three versions of stock and an evening spreadsheet to reconcile them. With it, every Shopify order joins one order queue, and the quantity Shopify shows a shopper comes from the same ledger that your warehouse, your purchase orders and your books use.

What syncs between Shopify and SuppliFlex, and in which direction?

The sync is two-way. In practice it covers four kinds of data:

  • Orders. Shopify orders arrive in the SuppliFlex order queue, next to Amazon and wholesale orders, where they are allocated, fulfilled and shipped.
  • Available quantities per location. SuppliFlex calculates what is sellable at each location from its append-only inventory ledger and keeps Shopify in step with it.
  • Catalog. When you connect your store, your own products appear in SuppliFlex, so SKUs line up from the first day.
  • Fulfillment status. When an order ships from SuppliFlex, the fulfillment and carrier tracking are reflected on the Shopify order.

Returns and RMAs are handled in SuppliFlex, so a returned unit goes back into the ledger at the right location and the credit follows to your books.

How often does Shopify sync?

Continuously, not on a schedule. The aim is "seconds, not nightly batches": the sync-freshness design target is under 60 seconds at the 95th percentile. That matters most during a launch or a promotion, when a stock figure that is an hour old is the difference between a clean sell-through and a pile of refunds. If you want to size that risk for your own catalog, the oversell calculator walks through it.

What happens when Shopify and SuppliFlex disagree?

Disagreements are expected, and SuppliFlex is built to surface them instead of hiding them. Typical causes are a quantity edited by hand in Shopify admin, an order changed after it was placed, or a call to the platform that failed.

Each one lands in the exception inbox with the cause spelled out and a one-click fix. During the beta the conflict policy is "always ask": SuppliFlex does not decide on its own which number wins. Because the ledger is append-only, the correction is recorded as a new entry, so you can always see what changed and who approved it.

The exception inbox also raises alerts before a conflict happens, such as oversell risk when demand on a channel spikes.

What can you try in the sandbox, and what is live from 13 November?

The public sandbox opens on Fri 30 Oct 2026 at 12:00 CT. It is the real product on seeded data, with no card and no setup. A SuppliFlex-hosted simulator emits Shopify events every few minutes, so you can watch orders arrive in the queue, see stock move and work through the exceptions they raise. The time machine jumps to end of day or end of month to show what a week of Shopify orders does to inventory and the books. Anything not yet in production is flagged "coming to production" in the product.

From the production beta on Fri 13 Nov 2026, the Shopify connector is live. Two paths open up:

  1. Guided trial. Connect your Shopify store read-only and see your own catalog and orders in SuppliFlex.
  2. Production use. Design partners run SuppliFlex as their system of record, with the migration wizard and CSV import to bring data across.

Which SuppliFlex plan includes Shopify?

Every tier. Starter covers up to 500 orders and 500 SKUs a month with one warehouse and five users, and lists Shopify among its connectors. Growth and Scale raise those limits. Tiers are flat monthly prices with no usage fees and no mandatory setup fee; prices are published at general availability on 23 Nov 2026. See pricing.

How do you get started with Shopify?

Start in the sandbox to see the Shopify flow on seeded data. When you are ready to look at your own store, connect it read-only from 13 Nov. If you are a US brand doing $2M–$15M on Shopify or Amazon with QuickBooks Online or Xero, the pilot program does the migration with a founder and runs SuppliFlex in parallel on your real orders. For the accounting side, read running Shopify with QuickBooks Online.

Questions

Will the guided trial change anything in my Shopify store?
No. From 13 Nov 2026 the guided trial connects Shopify read-only, so you see your own catalog and orders in SuppliFlex without anything being written back to the store.
How quickly does a sale in Shopify show up in SuppliFlex?
Sync is near-real-time, in seconds rather than a nightly batch. The design target is under 60 seconds at the 95th percentile.
What happens if someone edits stock directly in Shopify admin?
If the Shopify number and the SuppliFlex ledger disagree, the mismatch lands in the exception inbox with its cause and a one-click fix. During the beta the conflict policy is always ask, so neither side is overwritten silently.
Which SuppliFlex plan includes Shopify?
Shopify is included from the Starter tier up. Tiers are flat monthly prices by order volume, locations and seats, with prices published at general availability on 23 Nov 2026.
